Myles J. Poster

Partner

Myles J. Poster is a partner attorney at Wais, Vogelstein, Forman, Koch & Norman LLC. He takes a client-centered approach to medical malpractice representation, empowering his clients to “take the driver’s seat” in their cases. For Mr. Poster, client-attorney relationships are built on trust, and the more open and comfortable his clients are, the better they can mutually work toward a successful case outcome.

Practice Areas:

  • Medical Malpractice
  • Birth Injury

With a background in competitive swimming, Mr. Poster also understands the power of details – a personal skill he seamlessly applies to the practice of law. Even the smallest technical error in a race can be the difference between first and second place. In the same way, factual accuracy and detail can be the difference between winning and losing a case.

Legal Background

Mr. Poster grew up in Queensbury, New York. After graduating from the University of Maryland, College Park with a B.A., he earned his J.D. from the University of Baltimore, graduating magna cum laude. As a Rule 16 Attorney in the University of Baltimore’s Bronfein Family Law Clinic, he obtained a protective order on behalf of a client who was a survivor of domestic violence. The order changed his client’s life, and through the woman’s simple “thank you,” Mr. Poster understood that being a lawyer is more than an occupation. It is an obligation to ensure that everyone has access to justice, regardless of their race, gender, sexual orientation, or socio-economic status. Since then, Mr. Poster has zealously devoted his career to what matters most: helping people.

Prior to joining Wais, Vogelstein, Forman, Koch & Norman, Mr. Poster had the privilege of serving as judicial law clerk to the Honorable Christopher L. Panos in the Circuit Court for Baltimore City.
