Soobin Lee

Soobin is a trial associate at WVFK&N’s Chicago office, who concentrates her practice on birth injury, medical malpractice, and wrongful death litigation.

Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Lee has advocated for patients in a number of capacities including birth injury, medical malpractice, wrongful death, and nursing home cases.

Ms. Lee graduated from DePaul University College of Law with a Health Law certificate. In 2016, Ms. Lee served as an intern for the U.S. House of Representatives where she researched public and private health care issues. Ms. Lee is fluent in Korean.

Ms. Lee has tried complex medical malpractice cases and represents patients and families through every stage of litigation, from investigation and discovery through trial.

In 2024, Ms. Lee was part of the trial team led by partner, Mary Koch, obtaining a $23 million verdict in Johnson v. Advocate Trinity Hospital, on behalf of a child who sustained a brain injury at birth. In 2025, she and her colleague, Joseph Konrad, settled a fetal demise case against a Chicago-area healthcare provider for $1 million. In 2026, Ms. Lee and Mr. Konrad settled a birth injury case against an Illinois hospital for $8 million. That same year, they also settled two wrongful death cases against Illinois hospitals for $1.6 million and $1.5 million.
