John MacLellan

John brings a wealth of experience from his previous work at medical malpractice law firms.

Prior to joining the WVFK&N team in 2024, John was part of the trial team that secured a $14,500,000 verdict in Iowa’s first wrongful birth case. He also secured a unanimous appellate decision in Georgia, protecting a mother’s healthcare claims for a missed cancer diagnosis.

John holds a degree from Washington College, obtained in 2010, and a law degree from the University of Baltimore School of Law, where he graduated magna cum laude in 2015 and served as a law review staff editor.

John’s dedication to justice is evident in his passionate advocacy for his clients and his active membership in professional associations. He is an active member of the Maryland Association for Justice, Florida Justice Association, and the American Association for Justice. Beyond his exceptional track record as a plaintiff’s attorney in medical malpractice cases, John’s commitment to his field and his clients makes him a formidable advocate in the realm of medical malpractice law. John resides in Jacksonville, Florida with his wife and two dogs. He has litigated medical malpractice claims in 15 states and continues to represent clients across the country on a pro hac vice basis.
