Eliot W. Larson Jr.

Practice Areas:

Eliot W. Larson, Jr. decided he wanted to be a lawyer after taking his first case, which happened to be his own. When he was younger, he decided to represent himself in court. Even though the case wasn’t serious, it sparked a deeply-rooted interest in the legal profession. After that first case, Mr. Larson pursued other professional interests - including starting his own business and working in the health insurance field - but his interest in the law drew him back to his first passion: representing clients in court. Today, he uses the experience of representing himself to relate his clients, understand their needs, and provide the level of legal service he would want and expect.

Mr. Larson genuinely enjoys talking to clients, learning about them, and understanding the best strategy to help their unique situations. “I don’t like to take a wait and see approach,” he says, explaining that his end goal – the client’s result – is the driving factor in every case he takes.

Personal Life

After growing up in Philadelphia, Mr. Larson moved to Maryland to pursue his undergraduate degree. During this time, he became interested in medical malpractice cases, which reinforced his desire to become an attorney. After graduation, he helped found an experiential marketing company, which provided valuable insights into running a business, developing business strategies, and interacting with clients. Today, Mr. Larson is an associate attorney at Wais, Vogelstein, Forman & Offutt, where he puts his passion for helping others through the law to work in medical malpractice cases. He also works with Maryland Volunteer Lawyer Services and the Pro Bono Resource Center of Maryland, two organizations that provide legal services to individuals in need in the Baltimore community.
